A general disclaimer covering this site...WARNING:

Genealogy is NOT what I do for a living. I am neither trained nor long-versed in the incredible complexities involved in genealogy. I got into it to help my mother, who is VERY into it, but not long-versed in the internet. Most of what you will find here has been culled from said internet and the legions of devoted practitioners of genealogy, and I put up my own familys' tree as repayment to them.

That being said, please take what you find here with the proverbial grain of salt, as I don't have the experience or resources to be able to distinguish what is good and factual from what is just plain fanciful. I HAVE tried to verify everything you see here from at least two different sources, where possible. Some of the closer relatives are based on family stories and traditions, more so than good hard research, as good hard research doesn't exist for them...

It is abundantly clear to me, however, that there is a great deal out there that is just wrong. My own father's information, on one of the web's leading genealogy sites, was incorrect. So please don't send me angry e-mails about how I've gotten it all wrong. I'm probably already aware of that. I have documented, to the best of my poor ability, where I got the info, so go yell at them...
